This is a superb condition example of the Very Scarce WW2 Japanese Type 26 Nambu revolver. This example is deactivated to OLD specification meaning the cylinder is clear to accept inert rounds. The Type 26 is a double action only revolver with a top break open barrel. It was first introduced in 1893 that was the 26th year of the reign of the Meiji Emperor. It was the first ‘Modern’ pistol to be adopted by the Japanese imperial army. It was developed at the Koishikawa Arsenal and is named for its year of adoption in the Japanese army.  This is in exceptional condition with just a couple of patches of light pitting. This is a real collectors piece. Complete with deactivation certificate.
