This is a immaculate condition example of a Mauser Model 1914/34. The M1914 was a small sized semi automatic pistol that was chambered in 7.65mm. It was common with both the imperial troops of WW1 as well as the Wehrmacht of WW2. The M1914 was a design based on the original Model 1910. The M1910 was surprisingly designed in 1910 in 6.35mm. It was noted that the caliber was too small and proved insufficient against an advisory. The Model 1914 was then introduced in 7.65mm. This model proved to be far more efficient and saw service around the trenches during WW1. Mauser then decided to redesign the Model 1914 by giving it a different grip profile. They then re-launched the pistol as the M1934. In many cases the original M1914 was updated with the new grip profile and renamed the M1914/34 like this example. This pistol is in fantastic condition and has a crisp smooth dry firing action. Complete with deactivation certificate.
